Do any of the scenarios below resonate with you?
“You are a fresh Business Analyst and you have been tasked to drive the conversation for getting some information from another system in an automatic way. You have no idea where to start from or what to do with the information available.”
“You are an experienced Business Analyst who only worked in areas closer to the end users, customer journeys or business rules. You have just landed in a project where the system has no user interface, the company sells APIs. You’ve heard about them, however, ends don’t meet for you.” – this is what happened to me 7 years ago.
“You have been recently assigned as a Product Owner on a system which mainly offers a bunch of APIs. You are stuck between technical discussions and it is difficult to make sense of what you need to do there.”
“You are a young professional or a student interested to understand how do things work when systems communicate to each other. You may either have technical background, such as computer science or you may be coming from an area of marketing and communication.”
If you find yourself in any of the descriptions above, then I have a solution for you: An online Business Analysis training designed to help you understand how to bring products to communicate to each other.
What you will learn:
- Key concepts specific to system-to-system integrations (including DB, Message, API) – they should be enough for you to drive the analysis and to understand your more technical colleagues
- What is specific in a product-to-product communication project – you will understand how to apply Business Analysis principles to this context
- To practice must-know Business Analysis techniques (including Sequence diagrams, XML/JSON) – the ones that are a minimum based on the experience of the program designer
- A real-life example of running a Business Analysis initiative when system-to-system communication is involved
- To cross the barrier of “…but I am not a technical person”.
The program is for you if:
- You work on the business side of an organization and want to get closer to how systems work
- You have basic knowledge of Business Analysis concepts and you want to deep dive into the system integration space
- You attended some other Business Analysis trainings, but want to see another approach
- You were assigned as a Business Analyst in your organization and need to work with APIs and you have never worked with APIs before
- You want to understand how do systems communicate to each other.
How the training will be organized:
- Online channel – so you can attend it from the comfort of your home and not spend time in the traffic
- 4 sessions – the program is designed based on the trainer’s experience and is built to cover the minimum knowledge needed to run Business Analysis for initiatives where systems need to communicate
- 2hours/session – in this fast-paced world, focus for more than 2 hours in a row is a challenge in itself. We want to make it possible for you to keep focused
- Maximum of 4 participants per program – we want all participants to have enough space to engage in the conversations and maximize their learning during the program
- No homework – we know that you are a busy person, so we only rely on the time spent with us
- One additional follow up session after 1 month, to check on your progress with the information you gathered during the program.
