The Steps to Get There
This program is all about giving you the tools to transform how you lead and communicate.
1.Tech Lead Role & Responsibilities
The Tech Lead role is not a standardised role. It’s important to get clear about your responsibilities and the expectations others have from you.
We are going to explore your coding expectations and from where you are getting your satisfaction as a Tech Lead.
2.Master boundaries
Boundaries are not walls—they’re the foundation of freedom and leadership. You’ll learn to:
- Set and own your boundaries—be clear with your team about your time, availability, and needs.
- Say no without guilt and make sure your time is spent on what’s important.
- Learn to balance kindness and directness in meetings.
3. Say It, Mean It, Do It
As a Tech Leader it’s important to keep our promises and if you can’t keep them, being honest and communicating early helps avoid misunderstandings and builds trust. It’s also important to manage the promises that others make to you.
We are going to look at:
- The things that we say we will do and don’t do, or we are not in communication about it.
- A system to keep track of promises.
- The things that others said they will do and have not done it.
4. Master Triggers
Leadership is not just about managing others’ behaviours—it’s about managing your own.
You’ll learn to:
- Understand what pushes your buttons and why.
- Own your triggers—recognise them and manage them instead of reacting.
- Create practices to help process emotions in the moment and return to a grounded state.
5. Your experience isn’t my experience
Not everyone views the world the way we do. We know it. We don’t live it. We don’t practice it. We still expect others to behave as we do.
You’ll learn to validate the opinion of others, being curious about the way they see things. This builds trust, builds relationships and leads to motivation.
How it works
This isn’t a one-size-fits-all program. Will be adjusted to meet your unique challenges, giving you the depth of support you need to create lasting change over the course of 3 months.
✔ 5 x 75 minutes 1:1 Sessions with Andra – Every other week, 60 minutes sessions focused on the steps mentioned above.
✔ Unlimited Support Between Sessions – 24-hour response time to voice notes for ongoing guidance.
✔ 1:1 Onboarding Call – We begin by setting clear goals and creating a custom roadmap to ensure you’re set up for success.
✔ Tracked progress through self-assessments taken before Session 1, Session 3 and after Session 5.
✔ Midway Check-in Session – A dedicated check-in to ensure you’re on track and adjust our approach if it’s the case.
✔ Content – Videos, workbooks, and guides to support your transformation between sessions.
