What is being covered in the program?
During the program you bring situations that are occurring right now in your life. All sessions take place Thursdays 14.30-16.30 CET.
Session 1, January 30th 2025: Responsibilities as a Tech Lead
Get clear about your responsibilities and the expectations others have of you.
Session 2, February 13th 2025: Awareness & Communication challenges
- Challenges inside the team – Get clear on your challenges you are facing NOW inside the team and how to deal with them
- Challenges with other stakeholders – Get clear on your challenges you are facing NOW with other departments/stakeholders and how to deal with them
Session 3, February 27th 2025: Communication & Leadership tools
- The mirror – Learn how to get clear on the expectations you have from others
- Grow others – Learn to get clear on your underneath intentions when communicating
- Trust your gut – Learn how to when something is not clear or unresolved for you, to acknowledge it and deal with it afterward
Session 4, March 13th 2025: Communication & Leadership tools
- Boundaries – Learn to own your schedule, be in communication about your availability and manage time in meetings. Learn to question things and make your life work
- When you engage, you lose – Learn to stick to facts and not engage into reasons.
- Impact the future – Learn to focus on the future. “What can we do in the future?” vs “Who’s to blame?”
Session 5, March 27th 2024:: Reflection as a tool & What’s next?
You will learn to use the reflection tool in any situation. During the program, you will reflect on:
- Code review
- Onboarding
- Career development
We will look at what other experienced Tech Leads are saying and what’s next for you.
How is my progress being tracked?
Your progress is being tracked through self-assessments taken before Session 1, Session 3 and Session 5. The progress will be discussed 1:1.
You will receive the “Certified Tech Lead Accelerator” badge or credential that can be displayed on LinkedIn, once we have assessed your full participation.
When does the next program start?
The next program starts on January 30th 2024. The live sessions take place every 2 weeks on Thursdays 13.00-15.00 CET.

Hi! I’m Andra
and this is why I’ve created the TL Accelerator program
I have about 15 years of experience in software development, as a Software Engineer and Tech Lead, I am trained in communication and leadership, and for the last 3 years I’ve been supporting Tech Leads to transform overwhelm into results, and effectively manage their time so they can build strong teams and thrive in their role!
This experience has shown me that when you transition from Software Engineer to Tech Lead you need a different set of skills that you did not have the chance to use. This becomes overwhelming, you deal with challenges everyday and you have no idea where to start from to make this work.
That’s why I support Tech Leads by giving them simple tools to communicate clearly and confidently.
I provide this program to help you overcome frustration, overwhelm and resignation and get your power back!
